Licensed & Insured, PA HIC #179532 · EPA 608 Certified · Tempstar Dealer · Factory Trained: Tempstar, Bosch & Beckett · Locally Owned Since 2021

Experienced with Every Fuel in Our Area

Heating in our region varies from town to town. Many Lehigh Valley homes run on natural gas or oil. In much of the Poconos, natural gas lines don’t reach, and homes rely on oil or propane. We’re experienced with all three, and Keith is factory trained by Beckett, one of the leading names in oil burners.

Furnace Repair

Common furnace problems include ignition failures, dirty flame sensors, worn blower motors, clogged filters and oil burner issues. We diagnose the problem, explain what we find in plain language, and recommend a repair whenever a repair makes sense.

If your furnace has reached the end of its life, or we find a safety concern such as a cracked heat exchanger, we’ll explain the situation clearly and walk you through your options.

Signs your furnace needs service

  • No heat, or heat that doesn’t reach every room
  • The furnace turns on and off frequently (short cycling)
  • Grinding, rattling or banging when the blower starts
  • An unusual smell at startup that wasn’t there last season
  • Rising fuel bills

Furnace Replacement

When it’s time for a new furnace, we’ll help you choose the right fuel, equipment and size for your home. Our process starts with an in-home visit and a detailed written quote, free of charge. Every installation includes a one-year labor warranty, financing is available through Wells Fargo, and we’ll help with the paperwork for available rebates and tax credits.

Not every room comfort problem is a furnace problem. A bedroom that stays cold while the rest of the house is warm often points to ductwork. We install and repair ducts and thermostats too.

Yearly Furnace Maintenance

An annual tune-up is the best way to prevent a mid-winter breakdown. We clean and inspect the burner or oil nozzle, flame sensor, heat exchanger, venting and blower, then run the system through a full cycle. Fall is the ideal time to schedule. See our maintenance page for details.

Furnace FAQs

Should I switch from oil to gas?

It depends on your home and whether natural gas is available on your street. Converting involves more than the furnace itself, including the oil tank, venting and a new gas line. We’ll walk you through the full picture and costs so you can decide.

Why does my furnace keep turning on and off?

Short cycling can be caused by a dirty filter, an oversized furnace or a failing limit switch. It wears out parts and leaves rooms uneven. We’ll find the cause.

Is a cracked heat exchanger serious?

Yes. A cracked heat exchanger can allow combustion gases into your home’s air. If we find one, we’ll shut the furnace down for your safety and discuss your options.

Do you service propane and oil furnaces?

Yes. We service gas, oil and propane furnaces throughout our service area.

How long does a furnace last?

Lifespan depends on the fuel type, the quality of the installation and how well it has been maintained. We’ll give you an honest assessment of your furnace’s condition.
